The Shiloh Ranch Guest Cabin is a 380 sqft eco cabin that was built by Reclaimed Space, a sustainable builder in Austin who utilizes reclaimed metal, barn wood and other materials harvested from across the US to create a truly unique and sustainable living space. The toilet is a waterless “e-loo” toilet, where natural waste and paper turn into sanitized organic material via heating and desiccation. Our water is safe to drink, is softened (i.e. smells and tastes great), and flows from an artesian well by our main cabin. Rather than use septic, the cabin is on a graywater system. This means that water from the sinks and showers flows back into the yard and waters our pecan trees.
